One March afternoon we met our friends at Marylebone Town Hall. They arrived looking glam and gorgeous and we still had no idea why we were there. All was revealed that we were to witness the girls' surprise civil partnership. AMAZING! It was a very special celebration, I was very lucky to be a witness. We all went off to The Mandeville Hotel afterwards for a delicious lunch, with Sicilian red wine and a dessert of honeycomb terrine and caramelised pistachios. Note to self, must return to Mandeville for afternoon tea served on Zandra Rhodes crockery. 5 teacups!!
